Farmhouse. Dated 1790 on datestone over door. Flemish bond brick,
hipped stone slate roof with brick stacks. U-plan with rear
courtyard filled in. Two-storey, 3-window. Central 6-panelled
door in pedimented porch, 3-light beaded mullioned casement either
side. Stone plat band to first floor; 3-light mullioned casement
either side of central 2-light mullioned casement, open pedimented
datestone with small urn below centre window; inscribed MHB /
1790. Rubble stone right return has margin-pane French windows and
casements. Left return has beaded mullioned casements. Rear has
pair of hipped 2-storey wings with casements, formerly open centre
bay filled with 2-storey addition. Interior not accessible at time
of survey (January 1987).
