Cottage. Early C19. Cary stone ashlar, Doulting stone dressings; Welsh slate roof with gable overhangs; central stone
chimney stack. Gable front to road, lean-to on North and East sides; 2 storeys, 2 bays plus lean-to on roadside
elevation. Plain mullioned windows with diamond cast iron pane casements, 1-light below and 2-light above, in lean-to;
1-light below and 3-light above, bay 1; to bay 3 angled bay of 1:2:1 lights with pitched stone roof. Similar 1, 2 and
3-light windows on South side; with moulded timber eaves brackets. Interior not seen. Until 1850 this house used as the
parson's house for the Church of Saint Leonard (qv), then a purpose built vicarage was built on Strutter's Hill, (since
altered and not included in this list).
