House. Early C19 possibly on earlier core. Believed to have been designed by a member of the Bastard family of Blandford. Doulting stone ashlar to main facade, remainder local coursed stone rubble with ashlar dressings; hipped Welsh slate roof with plain gable to East extension; rendered brick chimney stacks. Main block 2 storeys, 5 bays; extension 2 storeys with attic, 2-bays. Main block has plinth, timber eaves cornice with hidden gutter; 12-pane sash windows in plain raised surrounds; bay 3 has 2-storey projecting porch with semi-circular porchway arch and string course above, flanked by two shell head niches; above a plain 3-light mullioned and transomed window and a low, coped parapet raked to open pediment in centre; extension has groups of three 4-pane sash windows in plain ashlar surrounds with segmental arched heads with pitched roof dormer windows to roof.
Wing wall on West, other extension to East. Main block reconstructed c1810; porch and East extension added 1903 - inscription inside porch.
