C18 building. The Mint elevation consists of a 20 ft high stone wall of
which the bottom half projects 6 inches and is probably part of the mediaeval
town wall. The top half of the wall is, presumably, later. 1 modern door.
The Wish Wand elevation of brick is of 3 storeys and has 3 windows, blocked
up former loft doorways and a projecting iron arm. Probably the whole
building was a warehouse associated with The Strand, originally.
Nos 50 to 55 (consec) form a group.
