Barn. Late C16 timber-frame encased in stone probably early C18. Rubble
brought to course, roughly dressed quoins, stone slate roof. 3-bay. Central
cart-entry with doors hung on original posts. To either side a rectangular
breather hole.

Interior: post-and-truss construction. King-post trusses with single angle
struts, straight braces to tie-beam and ridge. Single trenched purlin,
one-piece rafters from ridge to wall plate which has mortices to soffit -
evidence of earlier timber-framed wall. Closing truss flush with outside wall.

A good timber-framed interior remarkably complete.
