Row set at right angles to Morris Lane.
Early Cl9. 2 pairs of houses of symmetrical design, linked by slightly later
conservatory, and with common garden to the south, the part of garden next
houses laid out in continuous wide band of formal box edged beds. Two storeys,
brick, on stone plinth, narrow stone band at first floor sill level. Flat
eaves. Hipped slate roof to each pair. Brick chimney with moulded stone
copings. Each house (2 in each pair) has 3 French casements on first floor
with wrought iron balconies of scroll and honeysuckle pattern, and on ground
floor 2 tall French casements with wrought iron balconies of interlacing arched
pattern with pierced rosette ornament, and central 6-panel door with arched
radiating fanlight, stone key to arch, under arched wrought iron porch of
panel standards, interlacing pattern, with scroll overthrow and lead roof.
All windows have marginal glazing.
