Oast house, now domestic house. Mid C19. Stowage red brick in English
bond, with weatherboarding to gable ends, kilns red brick in Flemish
bond. Slate roof to stowage, plain tile roofs to kilns. Rectangular
stowage at right-angles to road, with 3 circular kilns to each long side,
set back from gable ends. Stowage 3 storeys, kilns now 2 storeys. Cogged
brick eaves cornice to kilns. Stowage roof hipped to front and rear.
Conical roofs to kilns, with cowls. One 2-light casement with segmental
head to each floor on each side of stowage, between kilns and front
gable end. One 2-light casement per storey towards front of each front
kiln. Vertical louvred strip replaces former central loading door to
centre of each upper floor of gable end of stowage; former second-
floor door flanked by broad 2-light louvres, first floor door by C20
2-light casements. Garage doors to ground floor. Boarded door to each
front kiln, in angle with stowage. Interior not inspected.
