South east aspect. Chancel with battlements, Cl9 5 light window with cusped tracery in the Decorated Gothic revival style and flanked by diagonal buttresses. To the right is A straight headed Perpendicular Gothic C14 window, then a priests door and another straight headed window, this time with C19 panel tracery (Perpendicular Gothic in style). Above the line of the windows is a change in the colour of the stone, indicating a raising of the walls to accept the present lower-pitched roof. The east window in the south aisle has Y tracery of 1300 Early English Gothic. (Photo May 2007).
