Listed building consent was granted for the Peel statue to be refurbished upon the redevelopment of the Hendon Police College site and moved from its original location, outside the since demolished 1960's building "Peel House", to the new "Peel House" that opened c.2014. The Peel statue cannot be seen from Aerodrome Road.
