2/66 Small cottage 10 metres to north-
west of Steers Villa

Small cottage now used as wood store. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble. Slate roof with
gable ends. Stone rubble end stack.
Plan: Small single room plan cottage with entrance near centre leading directly into
ground floor room which is heated by end stack. There is a ladder stair against the
left hand wall.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical single window front with entrance near centre.
C19 casement on ground and first floor.
Interior: Slight roughly cut floor joists. This is a rare survival of such a small
cottage which remains virtually intact.
