Boarding school photograph of about 1923 showing the arch at the front of The Old Hall. The picture includes
(i) Catherine (Kitty) Isabella Reah of Sunderland whose mother had died in 1916 (middle row far right and see also the English 1921 census which gives her name and the other pupils at the school and the address) and

(ii) front row far right - the youngest boy in the school - Catherine's cousin Alfred Farnill Morgan (my uncle, born December 1918 of Bishop Auckland, County Durham) aged about 4 years old who was sent to boarding school with her at such a young age.but was not at the school in 1921 when the 1921 census was taken.

I have uploaded elsewhere the 5 1921 census pages which show the headmistress in 1921 at The Old Hall - Gladys May Hutton and other staff and pupils - see https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/memories/LTP1-Y4J
