LEWANNICK POLYPHANT

House. 1854 (datestonel854 S.P.) Painted stone rubble. Slate roof with gable ends.
Stone rubble end stack on left.
Plan: Two room and cross passage plan, the left hand room heated by an end stack.
Extended on right hand side in circa late C19 or C20.
Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical 2-window front. C20 door with circa late
C19 gabled hood, the gable end decorated with pierced quatrefoils. Probably C20.
Two-light casements to left and right and two similar casements on first floor. 2
datestones above entrance, one '1616' (reused) and the other 'SP'. Later extension
on right hand end

with gable end to front.
