Lock. c.1795. Designed by Stephen Ballard; engineer, for trustees of the
Hereford and Gloucester Canal. Built of limestone ashlar with later brick
repairs and stone coping. The gates have decayed. 75 x 8 ft. This is the
last surviving lock on the Hereford and Gloucester Canal.
