Shop, formerly shop and house. C17 and C18 with early C19
front. Timber-framed and rendered; plaintiles to the front
range and pantiles to the rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics; T-shaped plan with a rear
wing. The front has a plain stucco parapet with 'Bloomfields'
across it in large letters. 2 windows to 1st storey, both
sashes with a single vertical bar to lights in flush cased
frames. Double shop front to ground storey with recessed
central door, plain end pilasters and a plain fascia with a
heavy projecting moulded cornice. The roof of the rear range,
which is slightly higher than the front, is linked into the
front roof-slope.
INTERIOR: low-ceilinged, in 2 bays; most timbers covered.
Attics not readily accessible. The rear range is in 2 separate
halves, each with the remains of a corner fireplace.
