Gatepier. c.1754. Probably by Thomas Wright. Coursed and
squared rubble and ashlar. Classical style. Square plan.
Plinth, 3 bands, moulded cornice, pedimented capital. North and
south sides have each a round headed niche. This building is
part of the architectural scheme of Nuthall Temple.
