Farmhouse. 1873. By E. W. Godwin for Earl Cowper. Brick with
plain tile roofs. 2 gable stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Single
range. Windows are glazing bar casements with segmental heads.
North side has to left, 2 casements. To their right, door with
segmental head and another casement. Above, to left, cross-eaves
dormer with catslide roof. South side has central door with C20
timber porch, flanked by single triple casements. Above again,
large gabled tile hung dormer to left. West gable has a
casement. This building is one of a number of similar farmhouses
and cottages designed by E. W. Godwin for Earl Cowper c.1872-78.
