House. Early to mid C19 with late C19 additions. Sandstone ashlar with stone
dressings and graduated Welsh slate roof. Two storeys and attic, 3 bays, lower
single bay, 2 storey addition to west. Rusticated quoins and plinth. Steps up to
central double leaf to raised and fielded panelled door below traceried overlight,set in
porch with pilasters flanking the door, square piers to front, entablature and
blocking course over. To either side l6 pane sashes in shouldered architraves over
panelled aprons. Above 3 smaller sashes in architraves with moulded sills. Eaves
band. Wide overhanging eaves. Hipped roof with late C19 gabled central dormer and
2 corniced ridge stacks. Rear elevation has similar elevation except with lengthened
central sash to first floor to light the stairs. Addition has sashes in similar
architraves and hipped roof. Interior has fine open well staircase with wreathed
and ramped m#hogany handrail, bulb on vase balusters and scrolled cheekpieces.
Original ceiling rose and paving to hall. Reeded fireplace with corner paterae
to rear west room and similar fireplaces to first floor. Late C19 gas fittings to
some rooms.4 panel doors and reeded cornices throughout.
