Pair of shops. 1906-7. Leslie W Green. Forms part of Maida Vale underground
station (qv 20/1). Red glazed faience. Roofs obscured. 2 bays, the third bay,
to left, under return of station elevation. Similarly treated to station with
tall segmental headed piers and deep parapets, between shop front. That to No
166 retains glazed shopfront, with part glazed door, with margin lights, set
back and beneath overlight with diagonal glazing bars. Shop front to 166a, to
left is later C20. Included, as part of station, for group value.
