Gateway and railings to Church of
the Virgin Mary Eleousa

GV II

Gateway and railings to church. c1910. Red brick, with ashlar
dressings and wrought-iron railing. Central pointed arched
gateway with traceried gable and cross-gabled square piers
with niches. Pair of spiked gates. On each side, a spiked
railing on a brick plinth with chamfered coping. Single square
pier to right, and a pair of piers and piers flanking a
gateway to left, all with pyramidal capitals.
