Farmhouse and adjoining barn under continuous roof, now house.
Mid C17 with late C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone with
stone slate roof and single gable stack.
Single storey plus attics; 3 window range. Garden front has to
right a 2 storey gabled stair turret with a wood mullioned
3-light casement with C17 glazing above, and a C20 3-light
casement below. To left, a glazed door flanked by single
3-light casements and then to right, a 5-light casement.
Above, a central through-eaves dormer with 6 light window,
flanked by similar dormers with 4 lights. All this
fenestration is late C20. To right of the stair turret, a
single storey block with single gable stack and C20 door and
3-light casement. Street front has an off-centre traceried
panelled door flanked to left by a C17 stone mullioned 2-light
window. To left, a 3-light C20 casement and to right a 4-light
one. Above, a small 3-light window flanked by single
through-eaves dormers with 4 lights.
INTERIOR has a stone spiral stair and plain chamfered stone
fireplace, probably C17, with C19 hob grate. Single purlin
roof with pole rafters. Ground floor has chamfered span beams.
