House, converted into public house in C19, now house again.
Late C17, altered early C18. Limestone rubble, squared,
coursed limestone first floor, gable stacks and pantile roof.
Double-depth plan.
2 storeys; 5-window range. Coved plaster cornice; timber
lintels to a left-of-centre doorway with 6-panel door, the top
pair glazed, 3-light mid/late C19 ground-floor windows each
side with plate-glass sashes, and a blocked right-hand window.
5 evenly-spaced first-floor 2-light stone-mullioned windows
with cyma-moulded surrounds and late C19/C20 horizontal
glazing bar casements. Formerly with a mid C19 shop window at
left-hand end, described in 1976 list description. INTERIOR
not inspected.
