Pair of attached houses. Early/mid C19. Rendered with
limestone dressings, coursed rubble sides, with moulded ashlar
gable stacks and a pantile roof. Double-depth plan with
2-storey lean-to to left.
3 storeys; 3:1-window range. Coped gables, quoins and plinth,
No.1 double fronted with a fanlight to the doorway, No.2 has a
right-hand doorway, with panelled doors. 2-light ground- and
first-floor windows, single light second-floor and central
window to No.1, with 6/6-pane sashes. Rear has a central
1-window range, and a left-hand narrow 2-storey lean-to.
INTERIOR: details of No.2 include a right-hand stair with
stick balusters and column newels.
