House, extended. Dated 1600 by owner, extended early-mid C19.
Limestone rubble and dressings, C19 ashlar, with ashlar front
lateral and ridge stacks and a slate hipped roof. Single-depth
2-room plan right-hand and double-depth plan, with a central
courtyard.
2 storeys; 2:3-window range. Earlier 3-window right-hand range
divided 1:2 by a lateral stack, with a right-hand gable and
decapitated stack; inserted C19 windows with ashlar surrounds
and 3/6-pane sashes. Left-hand range has a plat band and deep
overhanging eaves on paired moulded brackets. Right of centre
porch has a half-glazed door. Window over porch has
round-arched glazing bars, 3/6-pane sash to the left;
left-hand 3-window return has deep 6/9-pane ground-floor and
3/6-pane first-floor sashes, and a rear canted bay window with
moulded architraves to 8/8-panes sashes. INTERIOR not
inspected.
