House. Late C17. Coursed limestone rubble, formerly rendered,
with a left-hand brick stack and pantile roof. 2-room parallel
plan with rear additions.
2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Central doorway has a
heavy timber frame and 3-plank door; timber lintels over
3-light timber mullion windows and casements with a horizontal
bar. Rear has a central door, 4-light attic window and C19
gable dormer. Right-hand gable has a 3-light timber mullion
window, probably from a former stair.
INTERIOR: details include a through-passage with chamfered
axial beams with roll stops, large fireplaces, on the first
floor with a bressumer and stone cheeks; inserted right-hand
stair rises to attic with collar truss roof and tenoned
purlins.
