Pair of houses, converted to 2 shops and an office. Late C18.
Rendered and colourwashed brick. Pantile roof. 2 storeys and
dormer attic. 4-window range. Rusticated and vermiculated
quoins. 2 early C20 plate-glass shop fronts. First floor of
each property lit through 2 windows: 6/6 unhorned sashes in
flush frames to No.123, C20 casements to No.123A. Eaves
cornice with mutules. Gabled roof with 2 flat-topped dormers
fitted with a 3/3 sash (No.123) and a C20 casement (No.123A).
Internal gable-end stacks to north and south. North gable of
flint and brick, the gable head rebuilt.
INTERIOR: No.123 retains a stick-baluster staircase with a
ramped and wreathed handrail. Staircase altered in No.123A.
