House, now flats. c1899. By Watson Fothergill of Nottingham.
Red brick, with ashlar and blue brick dressings, timber
framing with brick nogging, and gabled and hipped plain tile
roofs. 3 side wall stacks.
Plinth and string courses. Windows are mainly original plain
sashes. 2 storeys plus attics; 3 x 3 bays. L-plan.
East front has a central segment-arched doorway with renewed
door and fanlight. Above it, a small window. To left, a
projecting stack. To right, a canted bay window, 2 storeys
plus attic, with 3 segment-headed plain sashes. Above, a
timber-framed stage with 4 composite sashes, and above again a
a square timber-framed dormer with a triple plain sash,
bargeboard and finial. Right return, to north, has a
projecting stack to left, and irregular fenestration. At the
rear, in the return angle, a small hipped wing topped with a
square tower and pyramidal roof.
