Old Pear Tree Public House and
attached garden wall

Farmhouse, now public house, and attached garden wall. c1800,
with early C19 addition, and alterations c1991. Brick,
painted, with pantile roofs with longer rear slope. 2 gable
and, single side wall and single axial stacks. 3 storeys; 3/1
windows. Windows are mainly original wooden framed cross
casements with segmental heads. Wooden framed lean-to porch,
late C20, flanked by single 3-light windows. Above, a 2-light
window flanked by a 3-light window to left and 2 similar
windows to right. Above again, four 2-light casements. At the
rear, 2 original windows.
INTERIOR retains original span beams and joists, and C19
glazed screen.
Outside, attached to the left front, a garden wall, c1800,
Bulwell stone with ramped rounded coping and wooden gateway.
Approx 20m long.
