Tomb of Joseph Richardson, died 1855. Obelisk of a monolith of pink Peterhead granite on square plinth above a stepped base. History: Richardson, of Cumberland, is described as `Inventor of the Instruments of the Rock, Bell and Steel Band'. The largest obelisk in the cemetery.
