Mid C19 tall, red brick house of 3 storeys, 4 windows. Slated roof of moderate
pitch. Eaves with paired, pendanted wood brackets. Roll moulding above 2nd
floor windows; band behind cornice of 1st floor windows. All windows sashes
in ornamental stucco surrounds, those on 1st floor with console bracketed cornice.
Rusticated stuccoed ground floor has pilasters with foliated capitals supporting
shop fascia board with moulded cornice. 2 3-light shop windows with segmental
heads to lights. Recessed entrance between. At left house door of 5 panels
with tall plain fanlight. Bootscraper set in plinth at right. Listed for group
considerations and for shop front.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) and the Grasshopper Public House form a group.
