Building of C17 or earlier origin with C18 front. 2 storeys, 2 windows facing
The Green. Long left return to London Road. High pitched tiled roof, hipped
at left, with boxed eaves gutter. Stucco front with quoins and plinth and incised
lines to imitate stone courses. On 1st floor one casement and 1 sash window,
both C19. On ground floor double shop front of late C19 or early C20 at left
and single shop window at right.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) and the Grasshopper Public House form a group.
