House, later C18, possibly on earlier core, red brick and ashlar
dressings to front, rubble stone elsewhere, stone slate roof,
hipped to east, ridge stack and west end stack. Tall plain 3-
storey, 7-window front with rusticated quoins, ashlar plinth and
band and ashlar window surrounds. C19 sashes, 4-pane to second
floor in raised moulded surrounds, 6-pane to first floor in
architraves and 6-pane to ground floor in raised moulded surrounds.
Six-panel door in third bay with architrave surround and hood on
brackets. East end single storey extension with window and door in
segmental-headed raised moulded surrounds. Rear wall has door with
hood on brackets each side of 12-pane sash in raised moulded
surround. Similar sash above.
Plain interior to late C18 or early C19 dog leg stair. House is
associated with Seend Head Mill (q.v.) and was owned by the Dugdale
family in the C17.
