Farmhouse, early C19 reusing older elements, red brick with ashlar
dressings and slate roof to front, roughcast paired rear wings with
stone slate roofs. Front has coped gables, end stacks and 2-
storey, 3-window range of 16-pane sashes with centre half-glazed
door and traceried fanlight in ashlar beaded surround with open
pediment on brackets. Raised plinth, band and eaves band, flush
quoins and flush surrounds to windows. The two rear wings have
later infill between. Coped gables and end stacks. West side has
cyma-moulded recessed mullion windows, two 2-lights above, 3-light
below, all with small-paned sashes. East side has similar windows,
but all differently moulded, ovolo and recessed cyma-moulded above,
recessed chamfered below. Windows may be re-used from an earlier
building.
