C16 origin with cruck constructions, externally C18 brick built including some flint
and rubble, corrugated asbestos roofs, half hipped. Brick stack to left of centre and
brick chimney to front right hand corner. A little timbering in North gable and in
2 storey centre of East side above the old wall-slate. 5 bays with single storey outer
bays and 2 storey centre. Casement windows, two and three light, segment with sashes
in ground floor Gable-end windows, to North Interior: 4 pairs of crucks, formerly to
open hall (smoke blackened). Large back-to-back C17 stack and at south South end
and floor inserted; one cruck collar retains traces of painted decoration.
