4/252 Lower Foxhanger Farmhouse

Farmhouse, mid C18 altered c1900, red brick with hipped slate roof
and stacks on side ridges. Two storeys, square plan, 3-window
range. Flush quoins. Entrance front is altered with three C19
sashes over two projecting late C19 square bays under slate pent
roof carried across as porch for C19 door in original flush stone
surround with hood on brackets. Rear has original flush cyma-
moulded stone mullion windows, 3-light each side, ground floor
windows corniced and 2-light stair-window at half level over oak
plank door in chamfered flush surround with hood on brackets.
North end addition with hipped roof, red brick to front, painted
brick elsewhere.
