Water tower. 1902-5. Stone. Octagonal tower with flanking
octagonal turret. Battered rusticated base, angle pilaster
strips, corbelled cornice and top stage with cornice, deep
parapet and further cornice and double-stepped embattled
parapet. Turret similar but higher. Round-headed entrance
of 2 orders has paired 4-panel doors. Tall paired round-
headed lights have roll-moulded surrounds and 2 rusticated
panels. Top stage has 3 round-headed openings with Ionic
colonettes. Turret has blocked round-headed entrance and 2
round-headed windows.
