Vicarage, now house. C17 or earlier origins with later alterations.
Coursed limestone rubble with C18 brick eaves to main wing and brick gable
to cross wing. Concrete pantile roof; plain tiles to porch. L-shaped on
plan: 2-room central baffle-entry range with 2-room (now 1) projecting cross
wing to left and full length rear outshut. Entrance range: 2 storeys,
5 bays, symmetrical. Cross wing: 2 storeys with attic, single bay wide.
Late C19-early C20 open wooden porch with pair of panelled outer doors.
Wide 6-fielded panel inner door and overlight in plain reveal and beaded
frame. Cross windows with plain flush frames, mullions and transoms, leaded
lights (apart from second from left ground floor with plain panes) and all
with single hinged casements; the two windows ground floor right are later
lengthened versions with larger leaded panes. Stepped and cogged brick
eaves cornice. Gable end of wing has lengthened ground floor window and
single smaller windows to first floor and attic, all with cross mullions and
leaded lights. Stepped brick eaves. Main range has end stack to right and
central axial stack; axial stack to wing. Left return has cross windows
similar to front. Interior: beamed ceiling in stairhall; C17
single-flight staircase with turned balusters, moulded string and handrail,
and newels with ball finials.
