C17 timber framed building. Gable end fronting Main Street with first floor jetty is a shop front. Bucks Lane front has a doorway with stable door, then a doorway with part glazed door and 2 fixed lights. Between these is a first floor doorway. Visible remains of timber include 8 posts, several rails, 6 braces and wall plate. To the right is a whitewashed brick and slate wing with dentil eaves. Single window with blocked doorway to the right: no openings on the first floor. (Photo May 2008).
