Row of 4 cottages. Mid C19 for Edward Strutt. Red brick with
ashlar dressings. Slate roof. 2 large red brick stacks to the
ridge and to the rear, single similar external stack to centre
front. Brick coped gables with kneelers. Set on a plinth.
Single storey plus attic, 8 bays. The single bays third from the
right and left are gabled, the outer single bays project and are
gabled. The central stack is flanked by single 2 light glazing
bar casements, further left and right are single similar 4 light
casements and single porches with pyramidal roofs and brick side
walls surmounted by fixed lights. Both porches closed with C20
glazing bar doors. In the outer projecting bays are single
similar 4 light casements. Further right and left are single
similar porches with lights to the front and entrances to the
sides. Above are 4 similar tripartite casements. All casements
with flush ashlar quoin surrounds and ashlar mullions.
