A C16 timber-framed house with plaster infilling grooved in imitation of masonry,
the front almost entirely plastered. 4 storeys, each floor overhanging on
finely carved grotesque brackets. Gable with attic window in it containing
one section of the original window, 1 window, mainly restored mullioned and
transomed windows, Fine C18 shop front with pilasters, panelled risers and
doorcase. The side elevation has 2 casements, The whole house is listing
strongly to the North,
Church of St Alphege and Nos l0 to 28 (consec) form a group.
