House. Early-mid C18 with later alteration. Cruck frame encased in coursed
sandstone rubble; pantile roof with brick stack. 1½-storey, 2-window front,
with single storey lean-to outbuilding to left. Central C20 door with two
glazed lights, flanked by 2-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes
with painted stone sills. Two raking dormers with similar windows in
narrowed openings to attic. Thin timber lintel to door and grooved wedge
lintels to ground floor windows. End left stack. Interior not inspected
but thatch is said to have been preserved beneath the pantiles. North
