Farmhouse and attached outbuilding and granary. C18 with C19 extension and
alteration. Dressed limestone house with red brick extension in garden wall
bond; outbuilding cruck-framed in dressed limestone; pantile roof with brick
stacks. 2 low storeys and 2-window front to house with 1½-storey range to
right. Central C20 board door to house, flanked by 4-pane sashes with
painted stone sills. Similar windows to first floor. Painted lintels to
all openings. Stepped eaves course. Outbuilding and granary: all openings
to rear. Right gable wall: stable door with heavy lintel to ground floor,
and lifting door to loft above, with timber lintel. End stacks to house.
Interior of granary: two massive upper cruck trusses with tie beams and
crossed apexes.
