House, now public house and restaurant. C15 extended in C20. Timber framed
on rendered footings with whitewashed brick and render infilling to exposed
frame above under plain tiled roof. Rendered extensions to left, set back
and lower. Two storeys, jettied on first floor of old range at right angles
to street over moulded bressumer and with curved bracing. Large side stack
to front left, rear stack to old range and corbelled rear stacks on extension.
Diamond-pane leaded casement fenestration with some old glass. Three under-
eaves casements on right hand return front on old range, 3 windows on ground
floor. Ribbed doors to left and right of centre. Attic storey in gable end
facing the street with two diamond-pane cambered head windows. Ogee angle
braces to first floor with two 6-light mullioned and transomed windows either
side of centre post of wall frame. Single storey range to left with attics
under two hipped and raised ridge dormers. Three ground floor casements below.
Porch and door to centre left.
