Semi-detached cottage. Probably later C17. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings; thatched roof between coped
gables; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2 wide bays. Below, 2-light hollow-chamfered mullioned windows with
labels; above 3-light casement windows of early pattern with rectangular-leaded light and iron-framed opening lights;
between bays a boarded door in heavy frame under timber lintol. West gable has oculus window with hood mould to first
floor; below it is a lean-to building with corrugated asbestos cement sheet roof, with garage doors to north and
2-light chamfer-mullioned window to west. Similar windows and door to rear. Interior not seen - possibly not much
altered. Attached on east side is Brook Cottage (q.v).
