Holmlea and The Haven

Terrace of three cottages and building attached. Early C19, with later
extension into the earlier attached building. Dressed sandstone terrace,
coursed rubble attachment; pantile roof; brick stacks. 2-storey, 5-window
terrace with 1½-storey building to left. C20 board doors to end and centre
left of terrace; part-glazed doors to right of centre and centre right. 16-
pane sashes with painted milled sills throughout terrace. Heavy plain
lintels to all ground floor openings. Building to left contains one ground-
floor window and one half-dormer, both 2-light, large-pane casements.
Timber lintel to ground-floor window. Interior: attached building to left
is said to contain at least one pair of crucks but was unoccupied at time of
resurvey.
