House. Late C18 with early C19 extension and later alteration. Coursed
limestone rubble with tooled sandstone extension; pantile roof; brick
stacks. 2-cell direct-entry plan with rear service wing; carriage shed to
right added later. 2-storey, 2-window front to house; single window
extension. C20 board door approached by stone steps at centre left. Double
board doors to extension beneath elliptical carriage arch of tooled
voussoirs: 2-light casement above. Remaining windows are 16-pane sashes
with stone sills. Herringbone-tooled lintels with incised keystones to all
ground floor openings except carriage arch. Coped gable and shaped kneeler
at end right. End left and centre right stacks.
