Memorial stone to Pilot Officer Joyce. 1919; restored and rededicated 1950.
Sandstone ashlar.
Obelisk on 2 square steps has low-relief carving of arms of Royal Flying Corps
and inscription 'It was here that Pilot Officer Joyce met his death on the
night of March 13 1918. Put up by the inhabitants.'
Inscription on lower step commemorates Sgt. Observer Joyce, his son, died 1940.
