Row of 3 cottages. Later C18. Coursed squared sandstone, stone slate roof.
Rectangular double-depth plan, No.79 two units, Nos.81 and 83 each one unit.
Two storeys and 4 bays; No.79 to left almost symmetrical, with doorway offset
left; Nos. 81 and 83 together also almost symmetrical, with coupled doorways
also offset left, all these doorways with plain surrounds; 4 windows on each
floor, all coupled 4-pane sashes with plain sills and heads and flat-faced
flush mullions. Ridge chimney in centre, modern ventilator on ridge between
Nos.81 and 83, and gable chimneys.
