Circa 1510 house timber-framed and of 2 storeys and 5 bays clad with white
weatherboards. Roof ridged and gabled pegtiled. Two wings extend to the rear
and from the centre, one being a stair-tower. Red brick chimney stack with C18
shaft, close to centre of ridge. Modern front door beneath leaded flat hood
on 2 Doric pilasters of softwood. All windows sash hung in exposed boxes. Four
on ground storey and 5 on first storey. Inside evidence for a first floor hall
with surviving crown-post in the attic. All frame originally exposed, as now
in rear east angle.
