House of circa 1749 embodying parts dating from C16. Timber framed and plastered
of 2 storeys and attics with range of 5 small pane sashes on the first storey,
the central one round headed. Central front door of 8 fielded panels under
Doric pediment and between 2 fluted pilasters with triglyphs on entablature.
Two matching sashes on both left and right. Plan an L with ridged and gabled
roofs clad in pegtiles. Eaves coved in timber. Moulded, terminal red brick
chimney stacks. Partly moated site.
