C16 and earlier, timber framed house of one storey with attics and 2 gabled east
facing dormers. Elevations rendered, roof ridged and gabled, clad with pegtile.
Modern chimney stack at north end of ridge. Ground storey with central front
door (modern) under flat hood on brackets with a pair of 6 pane sashes in exposed
boxes left and right.. Evidently an open hall at the north when first built laterally
divided in the later C16, with storeyed service in south bay where evidence of
first floor and buttery partition survives in the bar room.
